• False, misleading or deceptive statements, fabricated quotes, statistics or testimonials, and undisclosed paid endorsements.
• Defamatory allegations against named people or companies without public court records.
• Medical cure or treatment claims beyond FDA-cleared labeling, and any protected health information (PHI).
• Stock price predictions, "buy" recommendations, unregistered securities offerings, paid third-party stock promotion and crypto token promotion.
• Hate, harassment, threats, sexual content, and non-consensual intimate imagery (removed immediately).
• Child sexual abuse material (removed immediately and reported to NCMEC).
• Private individuals' personal data such as home addresses or personal phone numbers.
• Content that infringes copyright, trademark or other rights, including images you don't have rights to.
• AI-generated images of real people.
• Link schemes: releases sold or used as SEO backlink packages, URL shorteners or keyword-stuffed anchors.
• Pure advertisements with no news value.

• Impersonating an organization or issuing releases for an organization you're not authorized to represent.
• Uploading contacts you don't have a lawful basis to email, or pitching people who unsubscribed.
• Breaking an embargo, scraping the Newsroom or journalist network, or probing our security.
• Circumventing rate limits, credits or editorial review.

We may refuse, edit for style, remove or withdraw content, suspend embargo access, suspend accounts and report illegal activity. Report violations at Report abuse.
