1. Our commitment
We design and test Emerald Beacon News Wire to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That includes keyboard access, visible focus, semantic landmarks, labeled form fields, text alternatives for images, captions for uploaded video, sufficient color contrast and reduced motion when you ask for it.
We do not use accessibility overlay widgets.
2. Customer content
Published images require alt text and uploaded videos require captions before a release can publish. Customer-provided PDFs may not be fully accessible; contact the issuer listed on the release for an alternative format.
3. Known limitations
- PDFs and other files uploaded by customers may not be accessible. Contact the issuer on the release for another format.
- Embedded YouTube and Vimeo players are third-party software. Their controls and captions depend on the provider.
- We are completing a full screen-reader review of the signed-in app. Until it's done, some screens may not announce changes clearly.
